It was gathered that the workers started getting alert from their respective banks on Tuesday evening, bringing to an end, the speculation making the round, about the state government possible failure to pay.
Some civil servants who spoke under the condition of anonymity revealed that the alert of the payment brought to a halt their fear of not getting paid before Easter celebration.
The workers while praying that the economy of the country improved in no time, appealed to the state Governor, Rauf Aregbesola to continue to make their welfare his priority.
They however expressed hope that the payment of salaries for the months of February and March would be paid soon.
There was a speculation at the beginning of the week that the state government may not be able to pay the salaries of its workforce due to unavailability of fund, following the release of February FAAC, which 6million naira as the remaining revenue for the state.
