1830 rural farmers in 61 Focal Communities equipped with farm inputs under the UNICEF Replication Initiative Programme of the Ministry of Water Resources, Rural and Community Development

 

Considerable attention is being paid to rural and community development under the UNICEF Community Development Replication Initiative Programme of the Ministry of Water Resources, Rural and Community Development. 1830 farmers from the 61 Focal Communities in the state have being provided farm inputs (knapsack sprayer, cutlasses and herbicide). Similarly, a total of 122 handheld boreholes have been sunk in the focal communities. The UNICEF Replication Programme is a three year rolling scheme focusing on two communities per local government for development interventions.
