A University of Wales trained Legal Practitioner, of over 20 years post call experience with core competence in the area of Transportation law with particular emphasis on Aviation and Maritime. He has vast experience in multi modal transportation issues and has delivered various papers at international conferences and seminars. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from University of Wales Cardiff.

A member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the Association of Business Recovery and Insolvency Practitioners of Nigeria (BRIPAN). He has provided a wide range of legal services in arrears of Management Turnaround, Privatization and Commercialisation efforts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He serves meritoriously as a resource legal consultant to the Presidential committee on establishment and implementation of Inland Containers Depot Committee (ICDIC).

In 1998, he began active participation in politicking in the Federal Republic of Nigeria joining forces with the progressive elements in the Nigerian Political landscape by becoming a significant member of the most progressive party in Nigeria.

An ardent apostle of Fiscal Federalism, his love for selfless service and quest for the upliftment of his people in an egalitarian society compelled him to seek political office by seeking his party’s nomination to represent his Federal Constituency in Osun State at the National Assembly in 1998 under the Alliance for Democracy (AD).

Despite the incidence of the 2003 General Elections, its worldwide condemnation and inherent risks associated with electioneering and election in Nigeria at the time, In 2004, he contested the Chairmanship Election in Boripe Local Government of Osun State again on the Platform of the AD with the result again being manipulated against.

Not one to abandon the call of his people to be of service to them, he again sought the mandate of his people in the National Assembly Elections in 2007 under the then, Action Congress (AC). The Elections were so manipulated and the wishes of the people suppressed that it became a duty, an obligation to challenge the results.

Following a protracted Legal Battle, commencing at the Election Petition Tribunal in Osogbo, to the Court of Appeal in Ibadan and a retrial at a reconstituted Tribunal again in Osogbo, to reclaim his stolen mandate at the  2007 National Assembly Elections,  judgment was delivered against him only 3 months to the next round of General Elections.

The futility of an appeal being obvious, and sure of the overwhelming support of his people, he again contested the April 2011 Elections on the Platform of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and eventually won his election into the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

He serves currently as an active member of 6 standing committees of the House of Representatives namely, Public Petitions, Aviation, Inter Parliamentary Relations, Millennium Development Goals, Land Transport and Niger Delta Development Commission.

In recognition and appreciation of his qualification, experience and resourcefulness, the leadership of the House of Representatives enthrusted upon him the responsibility of over sighting the mangers of the Nations Debt management activities as Chairman of House Standing Committee on Aids, Loans and Debt Management.

He is to date, enmeshed in vibrant and robust legislative engagement at the National Assembly, where he has been instrumental in ensuring that the Nations domestic debts are not only being judiciously managed for the benefit of future generations but also to ensure that the immediate effects of these borrowings are felt by Nigerians.

He is happily married with children.
